It's a crazy small world we live in

I came into the whole webdesigning world a bit late in the game. It started with me taking over the website of a company I worked for about 10 years ago. I soon realized I really love making websites, and am now doing it for a career.

But having started in the middle of it all, not learning how to code a site from the very beginning, I find it much easier to use open source (I use Drupal) and to customize already built themes. Being just one person, it would take me forever to build each of my client's sites from the ground up. Plus, truthfully, coding bores me and I just want to dive in to start building the site.

Well, yesterday, as I was putting finishing touches to a client's site, I realized I have been using a theme built by one of my SourceN co-workers - in India! I had always admired Navdeep's work on www.dezinerfolio.com, and so when we started working together I was thrilled to be working with him. But then when I noticed yesterday that the theme I've been using for a client was built by Navdeep, it made me realize what a small world we live in.

Now, I realize this probably happens all the time within the developer community. But again, being relatively new to it, that was my first "small world, hey-I-know-you" encounter, so it made me smile.
